Obama EPA adminstrator Gina McCarthy has agreed to come to the South Shore to speak on the importance of electing science-literate women to public office. Also appearing will be Dr. Nandita Scott, cardiologist and elected member of the Hingham Recreation Commission, and Dr. Katie McBrine, pediatrician and candidate for State Senate, Plymouth and Norfolk.

The Women in Science and Politics event will take place at the South Shore Natural Science Center on September 29th from 1-3 PM. It is sponsored by the Committee to Elect Katie McBrine.
